SCN Case Mentors/Consultants
Experienced PBL or case writers and users will serve as mentors to members new to the use of cases and PBL. Each mentor will work with a group of 3-5 faculty and future faculty Fellows for a year. Mentors are responsible for 2-3 monthly discussions hosted on-line for new users. Mentors and their fellows would be responsible for a new monthly feature, Cases in Development.
Mentors for this year include:
Clyde Herreid, University at Buffalo
Aditi Pai, Spelman College
Drew Kohlhorst, Emory University
Karen Klycek, University of Wisconsin – River Falls
Michelle Fisher, Three Rivers College
Note: New case mentors are needed for Anatomy and Physiology and Allied Health.
The mentor application requires some evidence of practice and use of cases or faculty development with cases and PBL. Each mentor will receive $500/year plus $500 for travel to a conference if they present SCN.
