It would be nice to design and/or implement cases for teaching core biotechnology concepts such as SDS-PAGE/Western blots, real time RT-PCR, and restriction enzymes. These topics can be challenging for some students, and lectures often are dry… Furthermore, new techniques (e.g., RNAseq) could be taught using cases, but these frequently are not available, shared, or evaluated.
I’m interested in finding good simulations and materials. Please share your experience. Maybe we can work together to develop and evaluate cases in our courses!
